Questions contractors ask
Is it really only for HVAC?
Yes. The price book, the system options, the equipment catalog and the “Included With Your New System” list are all residential heating and air conditioning. There are no templates for other trades and we are not adding any.
Can I use my own prices and brand?
Yes. Every price, name, model number and included item can be changed, and every built-in item has a Reset to default. Pick the brands you sell during setup; your logo, license number and colors go on every PDF.
Can my technicians use it too?
HVAC Invoice Pro is built for the owner or the estimator today: your own iPhone, iPad and Mac share every customer, document and price through your iCloud. A technician with their own Apple Account would need their own subscription and would not see your customers. Shared company accounts are on our list; tell us if you need them.
Are the model numbers and prices exact?
They are starting points from current manufacturer lineups and national installed-price ranges, meant to be replaced with your own numbers in the Price Book. Confirm model numbers, specifications and prices with your distributor before quoting. HVAC Invoice Pro is independent and not affiliated with any manufacturer.
What is the monthly payment on the estimate?
An estimate only: the app works out a standard amortized monthly payment from each option's price at the APR and term you enter in Settings (at 0% APR it simply splits the price over the term) and prints it with the footnote “Monthly payments are estimates, subject to credit approval. Actual rate and term may vary.” It is not an offer of credit; your financing partner approves the homeowner and sets the real terms.
Does it take payments?
You record cash, check, card, bank transfer or financing payments and the app prints the balance due and a PDF receipt you can share. Payment instructions and a payment link or QR code of your choice print on the invoice. Card processing is not built in, so there are no processing fees from us.
Where is my data?
On your devices and in your own iCloud account. We do not have a server with your customers or invoices on it. Email and text messages go out from your own accounts.
